Speech pathologists diagnose and treat disorders related to speech, language, cognitive communication, voice, swallowing and fluency.


Chief Executive Officer. The median salaries for women who are Chief Executive Officers are about $83,356. Women chief executive officers earn about 80.1% of what men in the same positions do. Almost always, you'll need an MBA (masters of business administration) to secure this position.


Women who are management analysts make around $59,228 per year or about 78% of the salary men make per year. Deepening on the job, the qualification for this position varies. Most management analysts hold at least a bachelors degree, but it is really standard to have an MBA (master of business administration) as well.

Lawyer, the median yearly earnings for a woman is $78,468. Woman make about 77.5% of the yearly earnings men earn executing the same position. To work as a lawyer you will need a Juris Doctorate (J.D.) and to pass the bar (licensure) of the state you practice law in. Lawyers or attorneys advocate in criminal and civil courts and provide legal counsel to clients on business and personal matters.


Women that are trained as medical doctors have a median salary of around $63,960 and earn about 59.1% of what men make as a doctor per year. After you earn a bachelor's degree, you'll need to take the MCATs (medical entrance exam) and be accepted into medical school. You'll need 4 years of medical school to get an M.D. (medical degree), a license to practice, and residency in the area you wish to specialize. Also needed is certification and licensing in your specialty area of practice.
